BiAmar 2025 Technical Data Sheet

BiAmar — Loureiro Fortified Wine

BiAmar 2025 is a fortified wine produced from the Loureiro grape variety, reflecting the winemaking identity of the Minho region and the BiAmar project.

The 2025 vintage underwent physicochemical and sensory analysis at the Escola Superior Agrária of the Polytechnic Institute of Viana do Castelo (IPVC), through an Oenological Analysis Report issued on 21 May 2026.

The analysis confirms that the physicochemical parameters assessed were compliant and characterises BiAmar as a wine with a balanced profile, both analytically and from a sensory perspective.

Physicochemical Analysis

Free sulphur dioxide: 10.3 mg/L
Total sulphur dioxide: 30.0 mg/L
pH: 3.3
Total acidity: 4.72 g/L, expressed as tartaric acid
Volatile acidity: 0.19 g/L, expressed as acetic acid
Total alcoholic strength by volume: 19.8% vol.

All parameters analysed were classified as Compliant in the laboratory's technical assessment.

The physicochemical analysis was carried out according to the methods indicated in the report, including titration, potentiometry and distillation followed by ebulliometry. The document also states that the physicochemical analysis complies with Regulation (EU) No 934/2019.

Sensory Analysis

The sensory assessment carried out by the laboratory presents the following profile:

Appearance: Clear.

Colour: Caramel yellow.

Aroma: Clean, medium intensity, with slight citrus notes and low aromatic complexity.

Taste: Balanced, with no detectable organoleptic defects, receiving a positive overall assessment.

Overall assessment: A profile balanced between acidity, sugars and ethanol. The assessment carried out in a slightly chilled glass and at room temperature maintained the sample's organoleptic characteristics under both tasting conditions.

BiAmar 2025 Profile

The analysis results reveal a fortified wine with a distinctive presence, supported by 19.8% vol. alcohol, while maintaining a balance between acidity, sugars and ethanol.

Its visual expression is defined by a caramel-yellow colour. On the nose, it presents a clean, medium-intensity profile with slight citrus notes. On the palate, it is balanced, with no detectable organoleptic defects, maintaining a positive overall assessment.

The combination of laboratory results and sensory assessment characterises BiAmar 2025 as a balanced, clean and pleasant fortified wine.

Analysis and Quality Control

Independent oenological analysis provides an objective record of the characteristics of BiAmar 2025 and reinforces the project's commitment to product quality and control.

The analysis report confirms the compliance of the physicochemical parameters assessed and provides a positive sensory assessment, offering technical support for the characterisation of BiAmar.

The document also states that the reported results apply exclusively to the sample submitted to the laboratory and that the conformity assessment is indicative and should be considered in accordance with the wine's legal category, applicable regulations and the purpose of the analysis.

BiAmar

Born in the Minho region and rooted in the Loureiro grape variety, BiAmar seeks to showcase one of the region's most distinctive grape varieties through a differentiated interpretation: a fortified wine with its own identity, where the grape, origin and production process come together in a distinctive expression.
