Right of Withdrawal
Under Decree-Law No. 24/2014 of 14 February, consumers have the right to withdraw from the contract within 14 calendar days, without giving any reason.
Withdrawal Period
The withdrawal period expires 14 days after:
- the day on which the consumer, or a third party indicated by the consumer, acquires physical possession of the goods;
- or, in the case of multiple goods ordered in a single order and delivered separately, the day on which physical possession of the last item is acquired.

Effects of Withdrawal
If the contract is withdrawn:
- all payments received, including standard delivery costs, will be reimbursed;
- reimbursement will be made without undue delay and, in any event, no later than 14 days after being informed of the withdrawal;
- the reimbursement will be made using the same payment method used for the original transaction, unless expressly agreed otherwise.
The consumer must return the goods no later than 14 days after communicating the withdrawal.
The direct cost of returning the goods shall be borne by the consumer.
Exceptions to the Right of Withdrawal
The right of withdrawal may not apply, in particular, to:
- personalised goods;
- sealed goods that are not suitable for return for health protection or hygiene reasons once unsealed after delivery;
- digital content supplied by download where performance has begun with the consumer's prior consent;
